From year to year, the Studio designers work on the ideas for our corporate calendar. According to the Chinese calendar, 2016 is a year of the Flaming Monkey. Having analyzed the experience of our competitor designers, we saw that all sorts of options featuring monkeys were already invented. But we did not want to repeat ourselves or to be like somebody else. Thus, arose the idea of a calendar shaped as a giant banana. So, we preferred a trivial monkey for its typical attribute — a tasty and fragrant banana, which in our interpretation became an ironic symbol of prosperity, luck and success. And our key innovation in printing work — our calendar even smells like a banana!
