SVARTSNÓTT is a contemporary streetwear label from Germany.
The designs descends from aesthetics of cold landscapes, distorted graphics and music like black metal or techno.
Each drop is limited to 20 pieces and every shirt is printed by hand in Germany.
The name comes from the norwegian word svart for black and the icelandic word nótt for night.
The website is built with a very simple design language.
Lots of whitespace, big typography, simple icons.
As a consequence the products come to the front.
We use the corporate fonts Matrix II and Work Sans.
As the backend BigCartel is used, and the whole
page is coded in CSS3, HTML and JavaScript.
For development pow.cx and dugway were used.
