Then we met the team and realised there was something different about them. The problem was, their identity didn’t portray the fact they were nice ‘normal’ people. Having gone through a period of growth and with big plans on the horizon, they knew that had to take action.

 

 

 

 

 

 

That’s where we came in. Resolve hired us because they didn’t want more of the same, and they definitely didn’t want to be portrayed as a typical IT company. Music to our ears.

 

We began by figuring out what made Resolve tick, undertaking thorough research with staff, management and customers. This is always a rewarding experience for both us and the client, and it informed what direction we’d take with the creative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The new identity is packed with personality to reflect the  friendly people Resolve are known for. This is what stands them apart from the robots. The confident new strapline, we are IT, tells you all you need to know.

 

We created a family of icons to represent Resolve’s brand values and growing services. Each icon has its own character and links back to the logo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

New photography with both the Resolve team and clients have been used across the website and business stationery. We avoided a clichéd photoshoot and showed the team in a completely different light by focussing on their individual hobbies, which we brought to life with props. Hours of fun painting everything from fishing rods, guitars and books orange.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you’re looking for an IT company, chances are you’re trying to fix a problem and short on time. With this in mind, we knew we wanted to make the new website clean and easy to navigate.

 

It includes some nice little touches like asking the user their name (which is then used throughout the site) and a Google style predictive search area.
