Direction & Production: 2011 Saint Louis University "Everybody Say 'Billiken'" Video
Mascots are funny. Mascots with weird names are *really* funny.
Working with a local video production company, I concepted, directed and produced this video full of soundbytes originally destined for the scrapheap. Saint Louis University's mascot, the Billiken, has been noted nationwide for its uniqueness, and that uniqueness is at the heart of SLU's successful "Be a Billiken" sub-brand for undergraduate student recruitment. Considered too plucky to be part of the official brand website, the 15-second "Everybody Say 'Billiken'" video instead was scheduled for social media release.
