Description of the Site:
"Héroes del ring" (Heroes of the Ring) is a website developed by GrupoW to promote the release of the wrestling videogame with the same name. The site consists of a 360-degree wall through which are accessed various sections, such as history, mask, challenge, ritual and gallery.
Challenge:
Create a case study for festivals, emphasizing the graphic design of the site, the great amount of details hardly noticeable when entering the page, as well as the variety of sections it contains.
Video Strategy:
Emphasize the inherent value of the project by showing it as an effort to rescue the essence and tradition of Mexican Wrestling, through a series of short sentences and a solemn and poetic language, as well as an audio mix that evokes the Mexican Religious Syncretism.
On a visual level, the site is fully recreated in After Effects with independent layers, selective framing, contemplative camera movements and lens distortion to increase the depth sensation, and finally edited in Premiere Pro using mainly fade to black dissolves to increase the mystical and surreal feeling.
