This brief was to create a Christmas Card for the University of Newcastle to send to their clients for the 2011 Christmas season. We were asked to present a design that visualised ideas of Newcastle and Australia, education and hope for the future.
Using a play-on-words of a popular Christmas carol, I used a type treatment to add interest to the piece while employing only one spot colour to keep costs low for the printing of the card as well as a greyscale interior.
