For the first full-fledged music video supporting The Armed's 2015 untitled LP, we wanted to do something different. Something bold and unexpected. Something… well… probably not 100% legal.
So for the song “Polarizer,” a track that directly targets the theme of appropriation in art, we hit it head-on with a video created entirely out of footage from popular music videos. We scoured through hundreds of hours of wretchedly saccharine footage to match lyric syllables and the appropriate vibes.
