These book covers focus on following Lemony Snicket in his effort to tell the Baudelaire story, picking up on the clues that he would have found on his journey.
I chose one significant item or part of each story and illustrated the title, the author's name and the number of the book in to an item Lemony Snicket may have collected while piecing the story together.
The books are stored in a filing back, and the separators can be used as bookmarks. Each are colour coded.
For the Bad Beginning, a matchbox sleeve, Author Poe's business card and a polaroid of Count Olaf's tattoo sum up the story. The items travel from their house being burnt down, to hearing the news from Mr. Poe, to being put into the care of Count Olaf.
Each following book adds a piece of the story to the pile.
