Expressive calligraphy puts motion and emotion first. The process can be wild, ink flying, papers on the floor, brushes and pens chosen at random just to see what happens. I have been a dancer for years, and have always loved the connection between calligraphy and its sister artform. A year of tango and many more of salsa, waltz and old fashioned swing were my very best lessons in the art of calligraphy.
At the end of the day I got up from the computer and caught this image happening on my computer screen all by itself without my permission or control. Is this what you call interactive design? Love this moire magic.
