The theme of this game is guided by nostalgia, harkening back to old arcade games and childhood memories.
On the game design side, we observed users, gathered feedback, and iteratively improved design based on feedback. I drove for features such as jump and sprint for user mobility, more narrative hints for greater user engagement, and clearer visual indicators in the boss battle to balance difficulty.
On the art side I was in charge of 2D design from game title, layout, to fonts. For 3D, I created the staff and fireball, several characters (bear, castle guard, and king) and contributed to overall art direction.
