On the Offensive is a typographic publication that looks at the close relationship held between comedy and breaking taboos, created in response to the 2015 ISTD brief 'Taboo'. The book explores topics such as what kind of humour we find offensive, why people find this kind of humour funny and what should be acceptable material in comedy. To fully evoke the sense of discomfort breaking taboos can cause the book features a number of jokes that many people will find highly offensive, presented in a tongue in cheek way that aims to entertain the reader whilst also provoking them to question why they find it funny.

PLEASE NOTE: The contents of this book have only been featured to explore the topic of offensive humour and that I did not write any of the jokes!
