Memphis Open Identity (2015-17)
The Memphis Open, previously known as the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships, was an ATP 250 event that went under a start-to-finish re-brand only four months prior to the start of the tournament. The logo was my contribution to this project, which ultimately drove the visual direction; the logo and elements of it were applied to various signage, collateral pieces, and supporting experiential materials such as court backwall, pole banners, step-and-repeats, tossing coin. This logo was used in 2015-2017. The tournament has since changed hands again and reincarnated as the New York Open. A duotone racquet enclosed in a guitar pick, calls upon the city's vibrant music scene.
