Established in 2012, EVEREST ISLES is a brand dedicated to creating bold swimwear and nautical inspired sportswear of superior quality. With finest luxury, technical performance textiles and industrial components, the products are designed for modern men and built for an active modern lifestyle.
STUDIO NEWWORK was assigned to create the brand identity system including logotype, symbol, stationery, woven label, hang tag, lookbook, and website. The logotype was designed in a bold sans-serif typeface with diagonal ends of strokes in letter E, L, and T. The symbol was designed based on vintage semaphore illustration. In semaphore flag signals, it says EI, the initial of EVEREST ISLES. Uneven ink stamp and embossing stamp add a humanistic sensibility to the clean presentation and give a subtle but distinctive character to the brand. The lookbook was bound by yacht cordage used in grand prix yacht racing as well as their swim trunks. Although we found inspiration in classic nautical terms attached to sailing, our approach to EVEREST ISLES’s branding was focused on clean urban design with modern color palette to reflect innovative fits and refined construction of their products.
