Min Jie Hung works and studies at the National Taiwan Normal University. There, Hung creates in an effort to raise awareness for social issues. Hung hopes to use the impressive power of design, the position of instruction and education, to help improve social issues and humanitarian causes.

Description
Because of the demand for the industrial production of meat, gases are released. The gases are equivalent to 36.4 kg of carbon dioxide emissions; 169 million joules of energy consumption; equivalent to a car traveling 250 kilometers of European average carbon emissions; enough to make a 100-watt light bulb stay illuminated for 20 days. The demand for meat requires many resources.
Communication Objective
The image is sliced beef in the face of death, evoking a message to the veiwer that by working together, everyone can make a positive difference to reduce the demand for meat consumption.

The illustration was created in Illustrator by vector graphics. The layout was also done in Illustrator.
