Our creative group kikict art studio was given a great opportunity to decorate one of the walls of the first public
restaurant in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. What triggered our interest was the main concept of the restaurant: it was founded by 100 social activists fired up by a shared inspiration to develop urban space. Total income is redistributed to implementation of various community projects in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The illustration idea flashed across our minds almost immediately, blossoming into the main city buildings against a bright green landscapes background. In this way we emphasize the main goal of the project creators: the city has to be cozy and comfortable – green, ecological, aligning with community’s interests. We opted for flat as the key illustration technique, since it perfectly matches restaurant’s color patterns and state-of-the-art interior.
