A contemporary addition to a corner heritage listed home in Elwood formerly owned by Melbourne gangster Squizzy Taylor back in the day. A compact enclosed residence, the brief was to add another bedroom and create a light filled new open living area extending onto a raised timber deck and pergola overlooking the corner landscaped garden. An additional side deck with bi-fold windows to the existing kitchen opens up the external BBQ area.
