Block 39 is located in New Belgrade, and with just one building built until this moment it looks like green island of New Belgrade. Main idea of this project is to keep idea of a green island so urban block should actually be formed from itself
As the only building on this area is Faculty of Drama Art everything else should be connected with this function. Idea was to connect all Universetyes of Belgrade and to create Universety center. So Block 39 is created by overlaping green public spaces and new function of Universety center
Second question was how does we use the space? Thinking about that problem I tried to define relation between open and closed space, and some of options presented here I tried to apply on Block 39. It should be a mixture of public and private so there should be gradient of spaces used by everyone and spaces which are closed for public. Public, private and semi-private.
Faculty of Architecture
This project is part of urban block 39 in New Belgrade, and as a task was to creatre an Universety Center I decided to put main attention on building of Faculty of Architecture. This decision was taken mainly because of my experience of using a space as an architecture student
Basic idea was to put everything that serves object underground a everything that represents object up, detached from the ground. So in this case what represents object is open floor working space which is created in a way to connect students so they can share ideas.
Also there is open ground flor which prowides that peolpe passing by can be involved in a process of creating

Student housing
As a student everybody needs their private space, but space for connecting with other student is also very important. So I tried to overlap public with private and to create model of student housing that is based on their basic needs
Main unit of this project is “box” for one student. It is small flexible room that creates possibility of adapting space for sleaping or learinig, both activities for students where they need privacy. The rest of the space is organised as free space for many users and it is connected to semi-privat platform on level up from public space of block 39.

Universety Center
Main trafic line Coridor 75 dictated main direction of buildings. Also, buildings are made acording to existing building of Faculty of Drama Arts that was the only object in this block. Function of this existing building also dictated future function of all site, so as a logical response was creating an Universety Center
For forming this plan very important was extedding green areas from blocks around. In that way I tried to put cars in second plan. Block is createt as a place for pedestrians with mostly green areas concentrated in central zone
