For my advertising design project, I rebranded The Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco. One of the first things that I did was to change the name to The Golden Theatre to make the theatre seem more regal and not like a tourist attraction. I wanted to bring back the elegance into the theatre and create a logo that reflected that atmosphere.
For this project, we were told to create a logo board, and three examples of advertising methods and a series of ad designs that work as well individually as they do cohesively as a group. Because my theatre is based in San Francisco, I chose to place my ads on a webpage, a trolley car, and a large billboard in Union Square.
