This is an app for managing festivals built using salesforce. In this app you can add a festival and set a capacity for the festival. A festival can have multiple stages and bands can perform on a stage at a given time. Audience buy tickets for the festival and they can only buy limited tickets. Tickets can be VIP or general admission. You can assign a ticket to a maintainance person along with problem and the maintaince engineer gets a email and a task in application. When adding band to a festival than the person adding the band can ask the manager for approval. A manager can accept/reject or give feedback on a band playing. Within the application people involved can discuss on a social wall for each item anything related to the item. This is similar to facebook wall where for a post someone can discuss and pass comments.
This application has a lot of features such as linking different relations in application, automatic email based on some action/change in the system, design using schema builder, customization of form and form validation, calculated fields, approval system, salesforce workflow and more made by nDataConsulting Team.

Basically in this video we explore report using the festival app data and then using that report to generate useful dashboards. The advantage of these dashboards that the person responsible for analyzing and making decisons based on the progress can visually see what is happening, drill down in the data to understand more and be able to make decision based on the data and the graphs. The graphs help to visualize huge data in a easy to understand format.
