Adventure Time with Illustrator!
Each design takes a minimalistic approach to reduce the characters to their predominant traits, while using polygon textures as an aesthetic design element (used to amplify detail where possible). For example, Space Princess is extra lumpy, Ice King's crown is extra reflective, etc.
All artwork was done in Illustrator CC, with heavy use of pathfinder for shape editing and fine-tuning colour palettes to match the tone and feel of the characters.
Now I'm going to take a day long nap.
