This pattern artwork was created with Illustrator CC, using Adobe Color to explore color combinations. Using the "Recolor Artwork" feature in Illustrator, Color makes it easy to explore and play with palettes as it maps a base swatch to color harmonies in your selected objects.
Out of testing about 30 palettes from Color, the below are my favourites.
