I'm a guy that always loved geometry and symmetry, so always loved mandalas and it's radial symmetry that fascinates a lot of people. Beeing a graphic designer I've developed a way to construct mandalas easily on Illustrator and thought that this could be helpful for everyone who love this mystical geometric shapes.

So this post is another 'tutorial' post of me showing my method of doind something, in this case, mandalas on Adobe Illustrator. I'm also showing some of the mandalas I've made with this method, and two videos showing more of the process.

This process of make a structure usinf symbols on Illustrator could looks too laborious at first glance, but since we have done the mandala structure, designinig a mandala will be a piece of cake.

Also I've created this video based on some hours of screen capture, I've done the structure of the mandala. 
 

The first aim was to make a tutorial of it, but as too much people claimed that my last Low Poly Tutorial wasn't a tutorial, I've prefered just record the process and be open for possible questions and clarifications about the process for who is interested in know it more deeply.
 

So feel free for ask anything, I'll possibly add some annotations on youtube helping at any point needed. 

This second video is a screen capture of the final designing process of the mandala.
Here I've used the structure made on my first video to design this one and many others.
