We created a spine anatomy poster to help physicians explain basic spine anatomy and common spine problems to patients at office visits. The poster features a full lateral spine illustration, 3 common spine problems, and normal anatomy for comparison.  It also includes a drawing showing the dermatomes of the body which is helpful for patients with radiating or referred pain. This pain is often difficult to understand because its source is in a different location from where the pain is actually felt.

The next phase of this project will be to add the surgical treatments used to treat the 3 conditions to the back side of the poster.
