Herb is my concept for the mascot of the new tv station FXX. This new station is geared toward the 18-24 male demographic. As a result it has a wide variety of some very over the top shows, including The League, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Legit. The station created an adult environment for it self, and as a result needs an adult themed mascot. Herb is just that, he is a drunk house fly smoking a cigarette, weaving in and out of beer pong cups and fantasy football trophies.

Herbs appearance is also very closely linked to the entire networks personality. Stylistically he is a very low poly figure. This not only makes him quick to load up and render on screen, but also stylistically gives him many facets, and edges. Showing how multifaceted and edgy the network is as a whole. His brightly colored appearance is a pick up from other branding that the network has done. They have assigned a specific bright color to each of their original shows. I have also continued this branding strategy, by incorporating these same colors into the different elements that represented the different shows. Herbs outward appearance , his bulgy eyes and slouched posture are a tribute to this stations comedic stance.
