Exoplanets and Host Stars
Academic project made within the curricular unit "Information Visualization", the project consisted on an interactive visualization of a specific dataset using D3.js. We chose exoplanets and their respective host stars using the NASA Exoplanet Archive. We show the relations of the type of exoplanet, the type of star, exploring the relations between the orbital distance, year of discovery, discovery method and the discovery facility. This project was made with the orientation of Catarina Sofia Henriques Maçãs and Evgheni Polisciuc.
