PETER ZUMTHOR'S ST. BENEDICT CHAPEL DIAGRAMMATIC ANALYSIS

This precedent study seeks to analyze and communicate the structure, enclosure, tectonics, materials, and experiential effects embodied in Peter Zumthor's St. Benedict Chapel design. After modeling the building in SketchUp using Zumthor's hand-drawn plans and sections, a series of 2D and 3D diagrams were created to visually communicate the architectural analysis of this building.
