Charmed I Am



Charmed I Am is an independent business which handcrafts unique accessories accentuating locally sourced natural materials with heritage-inspired designs.

They use natural, high-quality, and locally sourced indigenous materials in their accessories with the goal of creating a brand that is not only synonymous with exquisite handmade jewelry, but also promotes craftsmanship, diversity, and sustainability.




The Goal
The brand approached us to flesh out their existing logo into a fully-fledged and distinct brand identity. With this project, we refreshed their logo, introduced a set of vibrant colors, provided new typefaces, and developed a set of custom icons to create an identity that stands out among other Manila-based handcrafted accessory brands.

All of these elements work in unison to highlight Charmed I Am's biggest strength: their wide assortment of exquisitely handmade accessories made out of natural materials.




For their revamped logo, we were inspired by how Charmed I Am is only run by two people. We used that idea into forming a letter "C" out of two circles, making the brand name more identifiable.

The Celtic knot the brand loves remains at the center of the logo, a mark of craftsmanship and heritage that continues to be the beating heart of the brand.




Unlike other accessory brands, Charmed I Am makes use of earthy colors rather than traditional royal or muted palettes. These colors are based on the various materials the brand uses in their products: nacre, gemstones, shells, wood, and steel. 



Decorative icons were also developed to help showcase Charmed I Am's wide assortment of products and the local materials used to create them. They form simple yet beautiful patterns, accentuating the brand's product variety across different promotional material.
