For this project we had to create a brand for a company that uses only urban honey, the only requirement was that it needed to have a small range.

I focused on the idea of taking pride in local, which I thought was a nice concept as it's honey from within a city which isn't really that common. Then to make it feel a bit more prestigious I used the locations of some of the most sought after postcodes from with London, which is also where the honey is harvested.

(UNI YEAR 1)

The 3 jars above each use a section of a map that relates to the area the honey is from. It shows where the hive is located and highlights some surrounding attractions to help people understand exactly where it is. The roads, when used on the actual product, would be transparent so you can see the colour and level of the honey remaining in the jar.

I kept the lids simple so they can be quickly distinguished and it works to put the local theme out a bit more.

A small label was made to give the customer a bit more knowledge of where the honey is from and why the location is important to the taste and look.
