Our clients hopped onto the 11.11 bandwagon in 2022 to run some promotions, and they needed us to cut through the noise of the multitude of deals. 

And cut through the noise we did. 

We allow our audience to share in the thrill of receiving an 11.11 deal through a soundbite challenge – they are to create a soundbite that matches the shape of a drumstick using the phrase “Share a Bite” through IG direct messages to @mcdsg.

Users that create a close enough soundbite shape will be DMed a promo code.

To drum up hype for the campaign, we shared funny and creative soundbites from influencers, prominent voices and fans.

After drumming up excitement for the Share a Bite Challenge, we revealed the promo codes to everyone else. We did so by posting a carousel compilation of our Superfans’ photos as they take part in the challenge, togther with a CTA to swipe for the promo codes.

To keep the campaign top-of-mind during the week, we created a compilation of our fan's best attempts at creating a soundbite from the beginning of the campaign on InstaStories. And boy, some of their attempts were HILARIOUS.

To keep driving redemptions throughout the week, we also created a carousel compilation of our Superfans enjoying the National Sharing Week deals together.

The response to this campaign was incredible. Not only was the number of DMs received over 26x of the previous campaign's launch (2,152 soundbites, to be exact), but the total number of impressions the content made across November 2022 amounted to over 4 million on Facebook – an incredible feat, considering that the campaign ran for only 1 week. 

We also got complaints from our community managers that their phones were blowing up through the week and it was sooOoOOoo difficult to work with all that distraction. 

I guess that's a happy problem.
