Ken Velasquez's profile

Office Graphics / Design

There are three items in every TFA office: a logo, the vision statement (One day, all children in this nation will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.), and the core values (Diversity, Respect and Humility, Transformational Change, Leadership, Team), which I designed several 'templates' for as each office had it's space restrictions.
Minneapolis office above and Newark office below.
Below is one of the 'templated' ways in which we did did the core values. Offices with greater room allowed for the organizations definitions to follow each of the 'words'.
Below the core values are framed posters on the wall at right with definitions.
Reception in Los Angeles office below, followed by reception in the Houston office.
Along with the three 'must haves' in the office, I also collaborated with architects on color schemes and materials for carpeting, sofas / chairs, wall paint, and more, to ensure we could bring the brand to life in each office.
An alternate version for the core values on the wall below. This variant is made up of dimensional lettering in sintra, along with matte finish white vinyl behind that gives the lettering a lot of dimension under different lighting conditions.
Vision statement in the Chicago office below.
Below is another variant on the core values. These are in Houston on the glazing of the conference room. This served as a screen for some privacy when meeting in the room, as well as a substitute for distraction markers, so folks didn't walk in to the glass.
Vision statement in vinyl on the hallway window glazing in New Haven below.
The view from the interior of the office.
In the Milwaukee office (images below). I ran the logo vertically on the door glazing because I wanted to do a super graphic on the wall behind reception. The image is of the Milwaukee Public Market - a well known sight in Milwaukee - and I chose it specifically to say "TFA is part of this community".
The vision statement ran on the corner walls across from reception and the super graphic.  Below are a few views from different points in the office.
