Schedule PTC is a simple application that allows parents and teachers to schedule, edit, and view Parent-Teacher Conferences with ease. Just like with Schoolicity, I am involved with the design and front-end development of this website. Other parent-teacher conferencing websites are pretty plain and standard to look at, so for the design, I came up something with a lot of BANG! But, that would still speak to an education community. I used a blackboard texture as the background, with bright colors and soft textures to mimic the magnets one might see on a grade school classroom chalkboard on top. The overall effect is a resource for parents and teachers alike that is easy to use and navigate while still being pleasant and fun to look at. The live website is coming soon.
