Engagement through storytelling

The Grieg Group's vision to unite all its subsidiary companies as "One Grieg Group" serves as the basis for our creation of a robust multi-site solution. This solution was designed to cater to numerous editors from within the various companies under the group's umbrella. We thoroughly assessed existing websites, pinpointing their strengths and weaknesses, while considering the needs and ambitions of each individual company. This process provided valuable insights for us and each project team, helping us understand how to effectively leverage the new website to inspire and engage target audiences, with a particular emphasis on storytelling. 




Challenge
While several of the Grieg Group's websites initially shared the same template for layout, they had gradually evolved in different directions. Additionally, an old and complex publishing system made it hard to update content, causing some sites to remain untouched for an extended period of time. 

It was clear that the sites required a redesign, both in terms of their visual presentation and their intended functions within the companies.


Solution
A new, updated and modernised, design was developed to define and strengthen the brand's identity. The system was designed with a range of modules to cater to the needs of all the companies, enabling each one to showcase and reinforce their position in the market, while still presenting a unified brand. 
 
An intuitive and easy-to-use publishing tool was tailored to allow multiple editors to work within the solution while allowing content to be cross-published across sites. 

Result
We have helped the Grieg Group and a total of 9 subsidiary companies in launching new websites that follow the updated template. Several internal editors helped us shape the new structure and content of these sites.
 
As a result, the websites now exude a stronger sense of unity, effectively enhancing the overall Grieg Group brand.
 
Furthermore, the introduction of new content, including articles, stories, images, and videos, has transformed the sites into Grieg's primary platform for inspiring and engaging customers, partners, and employees.
