The first shuttles are ready!
The mixed syndicate grouping the municipalities of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel has awarded a contract to Veolia Trandev back in October 2009, to build and operate the infrastructure and services to receive visitors arriving at the site. This includes two types of shuttles to connect the parking to the Mont Saint-Michel.
Yellow Window, the French subsidiary of Enthoven Associates, was the design partner of Veolia Transdev throughout the whole process, starting from the tender phase, the industrial development and up to the delivery of the first vehicles. My role was to balance design impact with industrial and economic feasibility and to ensure the initial design was translated into reality up to the quality of detailing and finishing.
