Lorenzaccio Thaumatropes

This Project is named after the main character of Alfred de Musset's play "Lorenzaccio"
Throughout the play, Lorenzo switches personalities constantly.
Although he deliberately acts things out at first, this duality becomes a part of him, creating a third more complex identity, following the idea of 1+1=3. This complexity is what I draws me towards this characterThe thaumatrope's constant movement from one side to another and the hypnotizing effect it has represents this character as a mechanism which triggers contemplative fascination.
