Rush Hour Patterns

This project is about my idea of "home". Rather than a place I thought about a situation in which I feel "at home" and put it back into a traditional home's context.
Rush hour is a moment which feels like home to me as it makes me feel like I am part of a dynamic atmosphere. I drew crowds of moovng people and made them into a pattern: my scattered perception of home became a regular and repetetive image which mirrors the routine and safety. This pattern was meant to become a wallpaper, fitting back into the context of a home.
I then thought about the anonymity of rush hour and made a new pattern using one figure repetedly. The pattern becomes increasingly complex until the figure dissapears and becomes a simple element of structure.
