En Colombia las regiones mas golpeadas por el conflicto sonlas regiones con mas índices de miseria. Muchos niños son victimas delconflicto, huérfanos de la guerra, abandonados por la pobreza de sus padres, ovictimas de abuso familiar. Aldeas Infantiles SOS Colombia es una organizacióna nivel mundial con operaciones en diferentes países latinoamericanos, enÁfrica y en España. Su función y labor social es la de brindar a estos niñosque no tienen un hogar, una familia, compuesta por otros niños en la mismasituación, y acompañados por una “madre” que entrega su vida a cuidar de estosniños como propios. Paralelamente a estas aldeas, funciona también los centrossociales en barrios y lugares donde esta el mayor numero de poblaciónvulnerable, lugares donde los niños mas pequeños son recibidos y se les brindaalimentación, educación y cuidado, tratando siempre de tenerlos ocupados paraevitar flagelos como el reclutamiento forzoso, drogas y pandillas. In Colombiathe regions with more affected by the internal conflict are the ones with thehighest rates of poverty. Many children are victims of the conflict, orphans ofthe war, neglected by their parents or victims of domestic violence. AldeasInfantiles SOS Colombia (Children Villages) is global organization that Works inmany Latin-American countries in Africa and Spain. Their labor is to give ahome and family to this kids, made of other kids in their same situation andwith a “mother” that gives her life to take care of this kids as their own. TheSocial Centers in neighborhood and places where an important number ofvulnerable community lives, work parallel to the activities of the Villages, theyoungest children are taken care while their parents work, in this centers foodis provided as well as education having for principal having the kids busy toavoid the forced recruitment of paramilitary and guerrillas groups, drugs organgs.
