I chose to focus on the RNLI rescue that took place at The Lizard in 1907. This particular rescue mission stood out to me because locals from the nearby village  came to help by lighting torches on the cliffs to help people reach the shore.

 

I decided to create a block that would have the chorus of 'Home From The Sea' cut into all the sides so that at night a fire could be lit inside for it to act as a beacon on the cliff top.
