I created the comfort object by blending together the typologies of a blanket and a scarf. It was inspired by a scenario of the user waking up next to his/her partner in this blanket on a cold winter day. The user goes through their morning routine with their partner in mind; their partner is still sleeping, so they slowly pull away their side of the blanket from their partner's side without waking him/her. Before the user leaves for work, they unravel the blanket and attach the side snaps to each other to form a scarf. Now the user can take their bed with them and they will always have a part of him/her with them while they are away from each other.
