Lifeline was modeled in Rhino and fabricated with rapid prototyping technology in grey ABS plastic. It is meant to be an accessory that can be worn during special occasions. The design is based on the connection between the wrist and the ring finger -- the relationship between life and love. The bracelet's two vertical ellipses represent the ulnar and radial arteries in our wrists, which are vital in keeping us alive. The ring represents the universal symbol of love and marriage, and the chain represent the veins, which connect these two anatomically as well as serve as the physical connection between life and love.
