In order to show the visual impact of large format printing and the capabilities of Hewlett-Packard printers in this area, a large billboard was created to be displayed in Malta for the HP Large Format Academy.

I was asked to create this billboard in my usual multi-layered photo-illustration style using street photographs of Malta.

I must say that this project really put a Mac Pro on its knees (and my patience to the test by staring at progress bars).

 

No remaining copy of this original file or the printed billboard have survived. Let's enjoy what is left.
