About Wikidata Istanbul 2022
Wikidata Trainings For Turkic Wikimedians; training and conference days for representatives of Turkic Wikimedia projects, to improve and enrich the skills of working in Wikimedia projects, primarily in Wikidata.
This is a conference and a series of training about Wikidata, Wikipedia and Wikipedia in Education, which is organized by Wikimedia User Group Turkey & Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group. The event will also be supported by Istanbul's Üsküdar University, on the campus of which the event will be organized. The conference was held in Istanbul, Turkey from 21-23 October 2022.
The purpose of this training-conference is to develop Wikimedia projects, and especially Wikidata and Wikipedia in Turkic languages and to improve the skills of representatives of Turkic Wikimedia projects.
Logo
The tulip motif, which is the symbol of Istanbul, was preferred in the conference logo. Unity and togetherness were emphasized by including the event name and other components.
Font
Montserrat, which is open source and used by the Wikimedia Foundation, was used as the font.
