Wee Society creates playful, colorful experiences to bring parents and their kids closer together. Office developed Wee Society's name, brand strategy, visual identity, website, stationery system, voice, characters, apps, and products.

"We're moms and dads trying to raise good little people. We wanted to create stories and characters that inspire creativity, spark imaginations and encourage conversations,” says Jill Robertson, president, Wee Society.

The team started by outlining the brand's values, which are represented in Wee Society's signature crest:
-We believe bright little minds deserve really smart ideas.
-Uncontrollable giggles make the world better.
-Our favorite color is rainbow.
-Sharing stuff is good. But sharing experiences is way better.
-We heart happy design.

Building on these values, Office developed a collection of colorful characters and silly stories that appear in award-winning apps, art prints, toys, and easy-to-execute DIY projects “from the Wee Workshop.”

Wee Society’s first family of characters is the Wee Alphas, a quirky crew of 26 illustrated animals with a letter of the alphabet hidden in each one. In the Wee Alphas learning app, funny rhymes and surprising animations entertain preschoolers as they find the hidden ABCs and practice drawing their own “special letter” on a sketchpad. The app won a Parents’ Choice Silver Award and a Webby Awards Official Honoree, and was selected by Apple as “New and Noteworthy” and “What’s Hot” in the education category.

In Wee You-Things, an interactive iOS app, kids are encouraged to appreciate differences as they meet characters with special “you-things” — those things big and small that make you like no one else in the world. “We’re sending the message that what makes you different is also what makes you awesome,” says Robertson. The app is a Webby Awards Official Honoree, was named a top 10 app for kids by USA Today, and was selected by Apple as "New and Noteworthy" in the education category. With Wee You-Things Blocks, Office re-imagined the classic wood toy, featuring mix-and-match quirky characters and three different puzzles. Designed to promote problem-solving and encourage creativity, the heirloom blocks are made to last for generations. They won the Parents’ Choice Gold Award for best toy.

In 2013, Wee Society partnered with Art.com, the world’s largest online art retailer, for which Office created a collection of over 150 colorful art prints and wall decals. Additional Office-designed art prints — including an award-winning limited edition 13-color screen-print—are available exclusively on weesociety.com.

Office designed Wee Society's website, developing the architecture, UX, and content for e-commerce sales and to connect with fans of the brand. The site features the characters and products — including a personalized-print-creator and parallax-scrolling animation to tell the Wee Society story — to reflect the brand's playful, quirky, happy spirit.
