How we realized a custom map of the Canton du Valais from two old geological maps
We received a map request about a specific area of Switzerland, the Canton du Valais.
this specific area was shown in its entirety on two different geological maps.

First of all we merged the two sheets, maintaining colour consistency and reconstructing the borders and legend, in the style of the two original maps.
Then we georeferenced, and once the elevation map was created we realized the previe render, to balance light and reliefs.
After several hours of adjustements, the final map is ready for the print lab!
