Snaps | The suitcase gifts
Occasion & The addressee:
Snaps is a boutique agency in Vietnam. On the occasion of this festive season, they plan to make a limited giftset as a tribute to their VIP clients, who trust and respect and cooperate with them so far. What they required is the giftset that showed their class and spirit.
Who is the addressee? They are Snaps phenomenally important clients who occupy the key positions in their company. In fact, they are the ones who are quite busy, travel frequently and see themselves getting sucked into the work - life spiral.
Insight:
Festive season is the best time for family reunions - getting away from the hustle and bustle of big cities and coming back home. However, will they really free their mind and take a break or always think about the jobs that are running? Experience has shown that most of them are too preoccupied with their work to even think about enjoying a holiday.
Idea:
Most clients feel secure about the campaigns with full cooperation from Snaps because Snaps always manage the work very well. By that way, the clients could be able to fully relax mentally and physically. Hence, GudLag decided to collaborate with Rimova - a high-quality luggage manufacturer, to create Snaps limited suitcases to represent the idea "Take A Snaps For Your Mind."
Art direction:
The idea was shown by the visual cue: A boarding card - allowing passengers to get away from stress to a fresh mind. By utilizing a layout of a boarding card, we decided to split the key visual into 2 parts: Part “From” & part “To” - a gift from Snaps to make you feel like to chill and take some meditation and adventure.
Our art director decided to use the illustration minimal style which combines Op art & Landscape paintings. By using positive & negative spaces, that combination created more geometric patterns to better bring a peaceful feeling for label visuals on the suitcase.
