In under a month, I designed every tiny portion of this 24 page booklet (save for the body copy) and give it an identity. Starting with a knitted sweater theme to cover the outside (complete with cute trees and reindeer), I wanted to give the book a fun warm feeling for the thousands of students that would be looking at it in the dead of winter.

 

The inside is filled with patterns of icons that revolve around each subject or event, such as campfires and pickaxes for our Outdoor Speaker Series and engagement rings and ties for our Wedding and Event Expo. I tried to mix up the spread of each major event in terms of medium, as I used illustrations for some and photographs for others, all along the way using type to effectively communicate each event.
