Seattle is known for its music, hands down, for decades. Before Nirvana there was Jimmy Hendrix, and before Hendrix there was the Sonics and so on and on and on. It's an incredible time to be a part of the PNW music scene whether you're a fan, photographer or musician.
I was fortunate enough to be invited back to the Smith Tower in downtown Seattle for another Mill Street Session, small beautifully crafted music sets by some of Seattle's best musicians via Projectline. This time was to see a set by Bryan John Appleby. I love how the images came out, it feels more like I was a silent part of the session but with intimate access. The light coming through the windows was gorgeous and the emotion coming through each image is so telling. Thanks to Kris Orlowski for asking me along, yet another fantatic project he was a part of.
