Ekaterinburg Transport Identity
Ekaterinburg is actively developing public transportation, buying new comfortable trains of buses, trolleybuses, and streetcars, and simplifying its routes. We have developed a new transport brand and identity to make it visible to residents and visitors.
Colors
Historically, Ekaterinburg used its own unique coloring of transport: buses — green, streetcars — red-yellow, trolleybuses — blue.
We kept the usual color coding and implemented it through the whole design system. Now the same colors are used on the transport, icons, stops, wayfinding steles — everywhere.
Pattern
To make our transport recognizable all over the world, we wrapped it in the Ekaterinburg signature pattern. In this way, buses, trolleybuses, and streetcars fit better into the urban space and acquire their own character, and the photographs will always show that these are vehicles from Ekaterinburg.
Slogans
To make buses, trolleybuses and streetcars friendlier, we added a unique feature to them — slogans that invite people to use public transport.
Instead of cold silence, Ekaterinburg transport now speaks in a clear and kind language, with soul and love for passengers.
Stickers
Informative and beautiful stickers have been developed for all types of transport. They are pleasing to the eye and interesting to look at. And the text is written in Russian and English for the convenience of residents and visitors.
Logotype
The new image needs a new brand, so all transport in Ekaterinburg was packaged in two simple word — Ekaterinburg Transport. Especially for this was developed the own logo, which succinctly reflects the roads, intersections, and the first letters of the brand.
Test Drive
The new Ekaterinburg Transport has already appeared in augmented reality. Tap on the links under bus or streetcar below with your smartphone to check it out.
Recognizable, friendly, and convenient — this is the new Ekaterinburg Transport!
