This Art Deco inspired poster is a parody of other travel posters that depict famous locations like New York, Melbourne and Vienna. São Gonçalo is my hometown in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
We can see in the background Parish São Gonçalo de Amarante, a landmark in São Gonçalo. We can also see the traffic building up and two guys on a motorcycle.
Terra de Marlboro means "an abandoned place", the neglect of the place by the local government.
