"Déjà vu / Dream"

2022년 2월, 아폴론은 삼성 디지털플라자 강남본점 5층에 위치한 ‘라이프스타일 쇼룸’의 ‘홈허브 존’에 미디어 공간을 연출했습니다. 미디어 아트 콘텐츠가 맵핑되는 ‘나이트 존’은 ‘비스포크 AI의 낮과 밤‘이라는 컨셉 안에서 IoT에 대한 심미적인 경험을 제공하고자 유명 가구 디자이너 문승지 작가와의 콜라보를 통해 도출된 ‘우리가 잠든 밤에도 활동하는 홈허브 AI’라는 아이디어를 기반으로 기하학적 자연물을 활용한 공간 위로 초현실적인 무드의 미디어 아트 콘텐츠를 투영시켜 꿈 속의 공간을 여행하는 듯한 데자뷰의 순간을 연출했습니다.
In February 2022, Apollon set up a media art space in the Bespoke ‘Home Hub Zone’ of the ‘Lifestyle Showroom’ on the 5th floor of Samsung Digital Plaza Gangnam main branch. The ‘Night Zone’, where media art content is mapped, is intended to provide an aesthetic experience for IoT within the concept of ‘Day and Night of Bespoke AI’ based on the idea of ‘Home Hub AI that works even at night when we sleep’, which was derived from a collaboration with famous furniture designer Seungji, Moon. Therefore, Apollon created a moment of déjà vu as if we were travelling in dream by projecting media art content in a surreal mood onto a space using geometrical natural objects.

나이트 존의 미디어 아트 콘텐츠인 ‘déjà vu / Dream’은 아폴론과 클로드 작가가 협업해 데이터 비주얼라이징 기법을 통해 제작되었으며, 우리의 기억과 꿈이 시간의 흐름에 따라 추상적이며 환상적인 형태로 변하는 일련의 과정을 재해석하여 몽환적인 입자들이 자유롭게 움직이며 공간을 부유하다가 점차 역동적으로 휘몰아치는 ‘빛의 입자 생성-궤적-점멸의 과정’을 구성해 데자뷰에 대한 감각적이며 은유적인 서사를 전달합니다.
‘Déjà vu / Dream’, media art content in Night Zone, was created through data visualization technique in collaboration with Apollon and media artists CLAUDE. In detail, the continuous process of transforming memories and dreams into abstract and fantastic shapes as time passed is reinterpreted with the flowing movement of dreamy particles. It conveys artistic and metaphorical narrative of déjà vu by depicting the ‘process of light particles : generate-float-flicker’ that floats in the space and gradually swirls dynamically.
