    Chaplin Cinema rebranding
Client brief: logo rebranding, identity creation.
Creative solution: to propose the new logo but keep the old name, which contains a great concept based on
a genius personality of Charlie Chaplin.
There were three concepts proposed to the client.
First is a classic concept, which based on retro movie style with Charlie Chaplin roles. Nowdays it also looks very fresh. For example modern movie “Artist”.
Second is about joy, happiness, entertainment. It called "rainbow" because of many colors.
And the third concept made in pop-art style. There are a lot of pop-art posters with Charlie Chaplin in the world, and we can remember that Andy Warhol make some of them. So it is very authentic theme.
Based on the famous classic Chaplin poses I started to drawing sketches to find the style of future identity.
Finally it become 10 different poses – 10 identity elements.
For partisan ad, ad in social media, pop-culture souvenirs were created a special sign I ❤ Chaplin.
Surely we decided to present the project in Chaplin Cinema. We created the pop-corn boxes according to our project concepts and before the presentation made them full of pop-corn.
So it was amazing wow-effect and the client was pleasure with result.
The first concept was choosed because of classic style and mix of bw + red colors.
